Voki Classroom Update: 15 Day FREE Trial
It has been almost a year since we first introduced the revolutionary educational tool, Voki Classroom. We have worked hard to constantly make improvements based on the valuable feedback from the Voki Community. This summer, we are super excited to introduce one of the most commonly requested features: the Voki Classroom FREE Trial!
Q: How does the FREE Trial work?
A: To get started with your 15 Day FREE Trial, all you need to do is sign up for 1 or 2 year Voki Classroom subscription. Click the Get Voki Classroom button and you’re on your way!
Q: What kinds of features can I get in Voki Classroom that I can’t get with basic Voki?
A: Tons! Voki Classroom offers unlimited access to all Voki avatars, including 3D PhotoFace characters and Politicians. Teachers are given the ability to manager classes and lessons, control student privacy, set lesson deadlines, leave feedback, and assign writing tasks! Great. You have a free trial period. What about your paying customers? I have an account. I log in and set up an avatar. When I go to “publish,” I get an error message that says, basically, that I don’t have an account. But I do!
Suggestion? How about a link, a readily visible link to Voki customer service?
If someone knows who to contact, or how to resolve this, please let me know. I’m really just about done with this program. Liz

We just added a about 50 new characters to Voki and Voki Classroom, with most of these new characters available only to Voki Classroom customers (“Premium”). The Premium characters have a little graduation cap on the upper right corner each character’s thumbnail image. The Premium characters cannot be saved or published in the basic version of Voki at this time even if you are a Voki Classroom subscriber.
We are working on a solution to this problem. Hopefully within the next 5 days, Voki Classroom users will be able to access all characters in the Voki editor. Until then, you can create a student account for yourself in Voki Classroom and edit these characters.

Well, okay, thank you for responding. But how hard would it have been to post an announcement on the site basically saying that characters with graduation caps were “under construction”? Liz
Should an issue like this arise again we will be sure to put up a notice. The issue should be resolved very soon and again, we apologize for the confusion. Thank you for your feedback.
It hasn’t been 15 days and they charged me. I need to talk to a customer service representative now to cancel it.
